Customizing Permission Opt-in Prompts

To collect push subscribers, your website must request browser notification permissions. HyperPush X gives you full control over how and when this prompt appears.

🚀 Prompt Types Available

HyperPush X supports two opt-in experiences:

1. Native Browser Prompt

• How it works: Triggers the browser's default prompt immediately when a page loads.
• Pros: Standard look, one-click authorization.
• Cons: If blocked once, you cannot show it again easily without manual browser settings reset.

2. Custom Opt-In Banner (Recommended)

• How it works: Displays a premium, responsive banner before showing the native prompt.
• Pros: Highly customizable text, branding colors, soft opt-out (user clicks "Not Now" and can be prompted later), and fully mobile-friendly responsive layout.
• Cons: Requires a second click to grant the final permission.

🎨 Styling your Custom Banner

You can configure banner aesthetics directly from your Websites Dashboard:

1. Navigate to Websites -> Click Edit Settings (via the ⋮ actions dropdown menu).
2. Set Prompt Type to "Custom Prompt".
3. Customize the fields:
   • Prompt Title: (e.g., "Stay Updated!")
   • Prompt Message: (e.g., "Allow notifications to get instant alerts on new offers.")
   • Opt-in Button Text: (e.g., "Allow")
   • Cancel Button Text: (e.g., "Later")
   • Theme Color: Match your site's color scheme (e.g., #00a854 for green).
